What’s the difference between tent and yurt accommodations?
Tents: Our tents are cozy, and include floor mat, and lighting. They offer a close-to-nature experience while still providing protection from outside elements..
Yurts: Yurts are more luxurious with sturdier walls and additional weather protection, also furnished with comfortable air beds and rugs for a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
What personal items should I bring for the overnight stay?
Bring a flashlight or headlamp, sleeping pad (if staying in a tent), sleeping bag or bedding , pillow, toiletries, towel, weather-appropriate clothing, and any medications or personal comfort items you need.
What happens if it rains during the retreat?
The retreat will proceed as planned with adjustments to ensure comfort and safety. All accommodations are weatherproof, and common areas will have coverings. In case of severe weather, we have contingency plans to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
I’ve never slept in a tent. What should I expect?
Sleeping in a tent is an exciting way to connect with nature. Our glamping tents are designed for comfort, so you won’t be “roughing it.” You’ll hear the sounds of nature, like birds or rustling leaves, which many find soothing. Bring layers for warmth and an open mind to enjoy this unique experience.
What’s included in the retreat cost?
The cost includes accommodations, meals, planned activities like yoga, guided hikes, and optional extras like massage therapy by Hope Maxwell (for an additional fee).
Do I need any prior experience with hiking, yoga, or wellness activities?
No experience is necessary! The retreat is designed for all fitness levels, and activities can be adjusted to meet individual needs.
Are meals provided, and can dietary needs be accommodated?
Yes, all meals are included during the retreat. We cater to dietary preferences and restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
Will I need special equipment for the retreat?
Bring a yoga mat. Other than that no specialized equipment is required. For hikes, wear sturdy, comfortable shoes and bring a reusable water bottle. and other materials will be provided unless stated otherwise. Be prepared for the weather. If there is a possibility of rain please bring a rain poncho or jacket.
Can I come alone, or do I need to bring a friend?
You’re welcome to join the retreat solo! It’s a great opportunity to connect with like-minded women, make new friends, and focus on your well-being.
What kind of activities will we be doing?
Activities include guided hikes, yoga sessions, mindfulness exercises, group discussions, optional massage therapy, and relaxation around the campfire. Every activity is designed to promote connection, relaxation, and renewal.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations 15-29 days prior: A partial refund of 50% of the total retreat fee (minus the deposit) will be issued.
Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the retreat start date: Due to logistical commitments, no refunds will be provided within 14 days of the retreat.
Transfer Option:
If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person (female) at no additional charge. Please notify us of any transfers at least 7 days before the retreat.
Event Cancellation:
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather or safety concerns), you will receive a full refund of all payments.
